School Meals
Home Achievement Curriculum Enrichment Community Facilities Ofsted

Are there School Meals?

q       A self-service system is provided and paid for at the cash till.

q       Free school meals are available, and details of how to obtain an application form are given below.

q       Facilities are provided in the Canteen for students who wish to eat a packed lunch.

q       For reasons of safety, we prefer our students to remain on the School site at lunchtime.

q       Parents who live very close to school and with their daughter/son to go home for lunch, should apply for a lunch pass.

The Schools Charging Policy

For certain desirable visits, the School asks for voluntary contributions from Parents/Carers.

No student whose Parents/Carers do not volunteer to contribute may be treated differently from any other, but if insufficient contributions were received for a particular visit, the visit would have to be cancelled.

It is always made clear by letter if a visit could be affected by this policy.

What financial assistance is available if I need it?

q       Full details of the Governing Body’s statement of policy for charges, including circumstances in which charges may be remitted, are available from the school.

q       Arrangements exist to assist students at the School where this is necessary. This assistance covers free meals and in some cases can contribute towards travel costs.

q       Application forms for any of these grants can be obtained from the Director of Education, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX
